BRiedman Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 I have already read the pinned How To. My question is slightly different. I am a beginner at soldering. Any tips/tricks on soldering two 8awg wires together?

You're going to need a torch or a gas powered soldering iron, no electric iron is going to be able to handle that job. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

Broke_Audio_Addict Posted May 31, 2016 Report Posted May 31, 2016 Put lugs on the ends of the wires and then run bolts through the enclosure as your speaker terminals and combine the wires at that point, No reason to solder them together.
