who has use(d) 6 volt "golf cart" batteries ???

The truck tool box isnt air tight (as some might think) there is rubber surrounding the lid to prevent water from getting inside, but there is slots cut out on the inside for mounting. The tool box will "breath" out and gassing from the battery. My deka G31 is in there right now, tho it is lead acid matainence free, it hasent been "sweating", even with the 100 degree weather we been having in texas lately.

I saw someone blow the top clean off a battery when they disconnected their jumper cables. This was installed in a car with the hood open. Hydrogen is no joke. Be safe.
