loudest tweeters

I am running 2x t1000.4 both bridged to power 4 doors with a PPS4-10, a PP4-X and a PP4-T.

The tweeters last like 1 minute if I turn it up. Is there something I can do to protect them from blowing so fast?

Is there a more suitable tweeter? I really don't want to go back to separate amps for mids and tweets.

I am building this system more for loud that SQ.

Madvibes, does Audiopipe still make the 150? All I can find is the 145. It wouldn't be a new version of the same thing would it?

I buy them off amazon. I only buy the audiopipe version because its the only all black one with a clear phase plug in the middle. also it has a the screw type neck which makes its easy to install into baffles of up to 3/4" fairly easy. I know they have even a bigger one that says 300 watts but I have never listened to it so I can't speak on its sound quality. I do think however that most PA tweeters are complete pieces of shit that have horible sound q and are truly unlistenable. I have found a combo of PA mids and tweeters that I think are super easy to hook up and need only a cap and minimal eq work.

If the problem was blowing up crossovers then I would say its the crossover power rating. The crossover lives and the tweeters die. Probably clipping if not then crossover point too low.

I use a 250volt 3.3 uhf cap. the tweeter is a 4 ohm model which will roughly crossover at 12k at 6db per octive. the pa mids I use play up to about 11k before roll off so they blend extremely well for not having an inductor on the midbass. I usually run two midbass for every one tweeter, helps with not having to use resistors in the system. as I can get the speakers efficiencies to match pretty close.
