Sticker covers pole vent.

So the hole was for the wires for the tweeter to pass through?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

you know what i think you are right on the infinity's the tweeter wires did pass through there but i cant recall on the massive audio but i would assume the same i checked under the mids sticker it is just a slight dip. so if it is to have the wires go to the tweeter why don't they leave a little room and put a hole in the sticker to vent the coil? considering the wire is about 26 awg in size and the hole is like 1/4 inch.

So Broke took it where I was going to take it before I had a chance to get back to this topic.

Those are not pole vents.

Those holes in the center of the magnets are for mounting tweeters on some style components or coaxial speakers with removable tweeters to be mounted else where.
Sometimes on coaxial speakers with non-removable tweeters that are mounted over the mid the wires run through the hole.

Also some speakers have the hole in the magnet to mount phase plugs.

The reason why the hole is larger than the wire is because often times the magnet is the same on some of the coaxial/removable tweeter/components when dealing with lower tier products which saves the companies money when they can use 1 magnet for 2 or 3 different model speakers.

A lot of it comes down to marketing.

Just like when companies sell 3way and 4way speakers along with 2way speakers.
They will charge more for the 3way/4ways but in reality they are giving you 2/3 cheaper tweeters that are crossed over at the same frequency that are using the same capacitor to restrict the damaging frequencies to the tweeters all while making no difference in the audible output.
Compared to their 2 way speaker that will usually have 1 nicer tweeter.
