Legacy Amps?

Recommended Posts

I am selling my 3 Pioneer 12" slim subs and right now they run off a 1100w Memphis amp...but my friend is buying the subs from me and he needs an adequate amp to run them, but cheap...He found this brand called Legacy. Will these push these subs good? If you have other brand suggestions make sure they are not pricey.

thanks,

chris

Legacy isn't really a good brand but they are cheap power. My friend Mitch has a Legacy "ICE" 2400 watt amp on 2 12" CVR's and it pushes them really hard but like I said they are cheap and won't do rated power as far as I know.

Stay away from legacy. Legacy amps are pieces of shit. They are very overrated. They are nowhere near their rated power. The cheapest amp I wound go with is a power acoustik. They hold up pretty good but they are a little overrated. For an example a power acoustik may be rated at 2000watts but it only puts out 1300watts but the amp only cost $250. You got a 1200watt amp for $250. Thats a hell of a deal you cant beat that.
