Daddy_
Just had a quick question. Looking to get my front stage done with 2 way 6.5" components. Im debating on whether to get the 2016 model of the Focal Access line or get a couple year old of there Polyglass lineup. Wooferetc is selling them pretty cheap. Im in Canada and the Access is about $450 while the Polyglass would be around high $300. So basically what I\m asking is should I get the new models or old models or ditch both and go with anoyher brand. Or should I just get Moral Tempo 6 or Ultra Tempo 6 or Type R? http://www.focal-america.com/product/165as/ http://www.woofersetc.com/c-172-speakers/c-10-compon-speakers/c-40-65/p-11729-p165-v15-focal-65-140-watts-2-way-component-speakers-system.html http://www.woofersetc.com/c-172-speakers/c-10-compon-speakers/c-40-65/p-9756-165-v30-focal-65-polyglass-component-speaker-system.html Car: 2012 Acura TL Elite Head Unit: JL Audio Fix86 Front Stage : Alpine SPX-17PRO Rear Stage : Alpine SPR-60C Component Amp : JL Audio HD 600/4 Sub : 1 12" JL Audio W7 Sub Amp : JL Audio HD 1200
bcbrassard
Option 3 seem the best but most expensive. Option 2 looks good too.
ckeeler11
Which set sounds better to you? in the end that is what matters. If you like them both get the cheaper ones.
Swordlordboy1234
The focal's are a great choice. But i will say it depends what you like. Try to audition these in a showroom before you buy. You would be shocked how much your ears will tell you (rather then your wallet or eyes) My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail....
