dsw422 Posted November 14, 2016 Report Posted November 14, 2016 Hey guys.. what kind of screws or bolts would u use to mount subs in a wall build.. baffle is 3 inches thick so I didn't think using 3.5-4 inch bolts with nutserts was a good idea.. what do yall think? I've even heard of using tapcon screws? Harder to strip. If you want 3 1/2", you need a #10 or #14 diameter spax screw. If you want 4", then you need the #14. Lags are an option too, with washers. 1/4" is the largest that fits the most common baskets.
