Air Bags On Awd 04 Escalade

Recommended Posts

Hello guys,

Iam new to this forum. I have an AWD 04 Escalade, i want to install some air bags . I was wondering if you guys think that will put any strain on my front axles. Also your guys opinions on long term ride quality. I am planing on keeping this truck , dont want to spend the money for something i cant drive everyday. I would appreciate your guys opinions.

thanks

if you bag it, chances are it wont be AWD anymore.....Chickens caddy, that im working on ATM was originally bagged by F.B.I back in 02. The front "transaxle" or "transfer case"(sorry im not a 4x4 guy i think thats what it is) was disconnected. Its just RWD now..

You can only drop it down a little before the halfshafts begin to bind. So converting it to 2 wheel drive will be in the works. Done properly it will ride better than stock.
