Well the equipment is 24 AA Chaos 15s and 6 Sundown SAZ-3000Ds.

I have done all the deadening and Im going to do the wiring. Besides that, there is just trim pannels and fiberglass, which Mike is doing also. I dont know how to do fiberglass, and he can do some SICK glassing and trimming in vinyl. Here is a car he built for SBN and CES a couple years back.

Im still learning alot like fiberglass and how to make GOOD trim pannels and how to work with vinyl and whatnot. Building boxes/wiring amps/etc is a no brainer. Anybody can do that.

You'll see. The box is his design, and he knows exactly how it needs to be built. Ive never built a box that huge, so Ill see the techniques used and learn how.

Would you say the same about chicken? Gmonk is a big voice in car audio through media, forums and connections. Even if he doesn't build his own setup if he brings it out to competitions and posts build pics its contributing.

There is a big difference between being a knowledgable (sp?) forum member, and being a "big voice in car audio" he helps people out and keeps us entertained with his builds, but he is not an influence in the car audio world, but back to the topic...I am seriously wondering what kind of enclosure you are planning to do, other than a clamshell of some sort. Im sure you are aware 24 15's is going to take up one metric assload of space, so I dont see you having many options. Either way, 24-15's is hard to make quiet.

Why the fuck do you even care enough to get in all his business then? Let him do what he does even if he hires people to build his enclosures, its whatever. Me and most of the people on this forum are here to learn car audio and share car audio, why does it matter who is doing the work, how rich he is, etc?

There is NO shame in Hiring some one to do what you cannot. I do custom work for folks who cannot..because it's what I can do.

I can't perform major surgery on myself (although I've never tried..yet hehe) therefore I "outsource" that labor. Maybe someday I'll get the guts to do that but until then I'm seeing a trained Dr. (Yes I know it's not the same thing it's JUST an example meant to simplify this)

If dude's not comfortable doin his own setup, well he sounds like he IS trying to learn so maybe someday he can drop his setup and say "this is what I'm building/built".....from What I've seen here on smd....he has said where it is not his labor.

THAT is basically a contradiction, so you might wanna edit it some.

I like to THINK I can do a whole lotta shit too....but If I don't have the finished product/proof to back it up... I can hardley make the claim...and same goes for anyone else.

Just my take on this...I never met the guy, or many if anyone else here either, so it's hard to speak on character other than "forum behavior" with quotes to prove who said what.

I have built boxes, I have installed systems, etc. I can do all of it. I just dont wanna risk building a box for 24 15s and waste $1,000 of materials when I know I can have it done right the first time.

For my last system, I had never built or worked on a wall before. Dont wanna just toss some shit in. And Accordman, what about the amps was wired wrong? They werent. And what blown subs were there? I didnt blow the subs, I just snapped the tinsels since I had the old model tinsels. The coils were just fine. The VERY first sub that messed up had a coil that was a little black, but with that much power at that loud, its going to happen.

Accordman, I know you're the epitome of car audio knowledge, in your city, on a national level, and on the interwebz with your single 12, but your input isnt really needed here.

I can design boxes. I can build boxes also. I wouldnt build a box and ship it though, thats not what Im advertising.
