fecupe2001 Posted March 31, 2017 Author Report Share Posted March 31, 2017 After the mistake i did on the top of the box, i had to cut down some kind of an angle, according to my maths i lost about 0.15 c/f on the front chamber wich isn't that bad i guess, also, lost tons of room for the mids so i won't have the mid bass i was looking for and i'll get some mid high response, anyways, some pics!! Closing the box at last, bullet tweeter's position also built. And finally, some filler and sanding made the final product looking nicely. This is the part that i don´t like about my design, i feel like there isn´t much room for the airflow to get into the port since the rear sealed chamber and magnets are close to the mids box and to the port, but what the hell, if it doesn´t work at least is just a shitty box for 2 18s that didn´t work, i´ve only spent like 1/4 of the mdf sheet lol Bottom of the ported chamber glued and screwed down, the sealed chamber will only have screws and some foamy to seal around with some duct tape also. x2 Massive Hippo 84 , these are the ones that i used for a 145.1 dbs score on street stock 500w class few months ago, definitely not brand new subs but they are in a good shape for sure... fecupe2001 Posted April 3, 2017 Author Report Share Posted April 3, 2017 Some beautification process, well, at least i tried to make it look good without spending money lol, just painted the box with some water based paint and using a brush, then, applied some sprayed black flextone paint and that's it, no bondo or anything like, im lazy!!
