Wiring (2) 4ohm subs to mono amp @ 1ohm

I think your mislead, two pairs of terminals is not the same thing as two outputs. One can be bridged, the other cant.   Also, his installer didnt remove the woofers from the enclosure because there was absolutely no need to, everything needs to stay paralell in that situation.

You need to go back and re read my reply again, as for the wiring for subs.

 

Don't know why there's arguement here. A lot of amps that are mono are split into for what appears to be a "2 ch amp".

We are just trying to bring you back from left field. If a mono amp had two channels, then it would be a two channel amp. These guys have brought me back from left field a few times too.

Would an example of hes talking about be like the linear power amps? How some of their mono amps have 4 speaker wire terminals. Those kinna tripped me out when i was looking at pictures of the 8002SW, i still dont know what its for but i know its not a two channel lol.

A lot of mono amps have multiple terminals to make wiring multiple subs easier. Linear power made in America. Good to see something is still made here.
