Ok i have jl audio set up ive been working on for mo ths i. Upgraded my 300\4v2 to the v3 but now i have engine nosie all my grounds are good maybe besides the factory grounds. In engine bay i did not upgrade yet. So i put a volt meteter on them to try and find out whats going on and the two left channels are giving me a resistance of point I'm sorry zero 4.4 and the normal one is 0.4 when I unhook the two right channels then noise goes away so I'm trying to figure this out is this the amplifier or what???? I mean its brand new amp

Buy an RCA to 3.5mm cable and connect your phone or an MP3 player directly to the amp. If the noise is still there, it's something with the amp, if it's not, it's likely your head unit.

Possible that the wire is cut and grounding, or it could also be a cut rca cord causing the issue.

Could even be a speaker itself which is unusual but a possibility.

I would try connecting the amp to the speakers out of their locations next to the amp to see if it is a wiring issue, if it persist after that test then try a set of rca cables run through the inside of the car to see if anything has changed for the better.

if all of those fail, then you want to get the H/U out of the dash still connected and see if anything has changed.

Your working on trying to eliminate the cause, you just need to keep eliminating one thing at a time till you find the culprit.

Even though you have checked your grounds it does not mean it could still not be one of them.

You could have a bad crimp or solder on a terminal, so always pull on them trying to see if they will pull apart.
