In this day and age you'd think these manufacturers would begin to get a clue and be legit in their advertisement because they're going to get found out.  So many other great amps for less money with more power that do what they say they will do.  Don't waste your time and money on sub par amps.  If they aren't hitting their rated, where else did they cut corners?  I'm not about to trust your reliability nor your warranty if you can't be truthful about your functionality.

Just to be clear, it is NOT my intention to smear reputations of companies. I simply search and buy amplifiers I'm curious about. What I'm noticing more and more is the tendency of companies to "fudge" the numbers or outright lie in some circumstances. I'm just an enthusiast who has a very powerful tool, the Amp Dyno in my arsenal. Have I been questioned by manufacturers? Yes. I've also asked them to provide independent data supporting their claims. The only sound is crickets. Fact is, in most cases, they know they are being deceitful and I just don't think it's right to mislead people. All I want is industry standards for ratings and for EVERYONE to play with the same rules. This way if you are a budding basshead, sure, get that $50 amp for your 10" sub. But now you'll know it's only 200 watts, not the 1500 watts plastered on the box. Peace out, I'll keep reporting, y'all keep watching and sharing...
