2000 Chevy S10 "Nothing special" Build log

Recommended Posts

My futures plans are to upgrade my Big 3 wiring to better quality wire and also upgrade my amp wiring and RCA's to better name brand wire. Also looking into a higher amp alternator and/or an AGM battery because I get some dimming lights when the engine is at idle or stopped at a red light.

Lights almost always dim, If u go to a HID or LED conversion headlamp u won’t get dimming . The ballast store the voltage keeping it from dimming.

Thanks for the information. I mostly notice the dash lights dimming but occasionally I can see the headlights dim just a bit.
