str86diesel
Or popping is just un-burned gases hitting the exhust tips. As already said once...the popping is not caused by a "brand of muffler" it's caused due to the A/F ration being off, thus allowing un-burned gasses down the pipes. The way to cure this is to have the motor tuned to the correct ratio. 2k6 Dodge Ram 2500...CUMMINS POWERED - SOLD
aquill1
I want to get something for my mountaineer (4.6) flowmaster would be too much but the magnaflow imo would be what I'd want. If I had a stang I'd get x-pipes and slap some flowmasters on it. I put a v-force muffler on my 94' f150 but can't remember what it was. I didn't want the loudness of the flowmaster but what I got was too quiet. Magnaflow and gibson imo sound similar. Muffler man replaced my muffler and it was like $110 installed (not dual exhaust though.) Sweetest car I ever heard in person other than a 03 terminator with x pipes was a 02 roush 360r with xpipes and flowmasters, it sounded like pure sex! But it was basically a terminator (cobra as well) as it had a supercharger and what not. That roush sounds awesome! Once the car warms up doesn't that stop? Aaron813
Why dont you just do straights on it they sounds good and are cheaper to do have duals coming out of the corners Like this F150
bassbaker15
Flomasters all the way. i have a few buddys that have magnaflow and i hate the sound of em. Go flowmaster at least on the chevy single pipe back to muffler and then duals to back is all you need. Team Deadly Hertz 1997 GMC 1500 Update....
