Replacing caps in a amp is easy peasy if you have a soldering gun & desoilder to take them out. A picture of the caps would be helpful so we know what size they are so we can help alot more. BMS Posted January 20, 2018 Author Report Share Posted January 20, 2018 I just found a Nichicon that works they are 25mm dia. the shop is only charging 25$ because they know what the problem is (no diag) i can't solder worth crap. they also told me the thyroidal coils are dark and the glue is bubbled which i didn't notice before.
