Need of upgrade of electrical was best and cheapest way to help with voltage

My current setup is singer 340

Double run of shca ofc1/0 for big 4

Xs d3400 Underhood

4 runs shca ofc1/0

4 xs d3100s

4 grounds shca ofc1/0 in front and back

2 dc5ks @.9 each, mmats sq4100 on mids, skar sk85.4 on tweeters

Don't have a ton of room for more batts and don't want to add alot of weight truck is did and bad enough on gas with new subs,batts,amps, and wall.

Really leaning towards lithium but kinda expensive. Also thinking about adding another alternator since ac compressor is dead any ways would need to fan up bracket and figure out belt. Would adding a stock alt help at all cause that would be the cheapest route right now. Till I can stack up money.

My vote is another alternator.  Every ampere of current you can create will make all the storage more effective.  Even with a secondary stock alt from a pick-a-part.

That's what I'm thinking run my stock alt  secondary for now till I can save up for a second singer 340 then eventually add more reserve

I've ran my 3 banks of JY with my stock alt, a Singer stock-case upgrade, a US Alts Large Case, and a Mechman Large Case, and the stock alternator alone was a no-go, even with 3 banks of JY.  Voltage dipped like crazy.  Even the stock-case Singer has trouble at idle with 10k at 1/3 ish ohm. The large cases have no problem powering the 2 5Ks though.

Alternator power should be first and foremost.  Even adding a secondary stock alt will make a noticeable difference.  Question: is your Singer a Hairpin unit or handwound?  The hairpin units tend to have better idle output.

What does your voltage look like right now?

Also how much current draw do you have?

2 dc5ks @.9 each, mmats sq4100, and skar sk85.4 1000+ draw idle full tilt voltage drops to mid 12s driving voltage stays in 14-13 range all depends on song but I like playing 24-32 range love my lows.

know I need more reserve regardless. eventually will probably go lithium so I can squeeze another dc5k in there and no way really to do it the way it is

If you're holding 12's at idle full tilt and 13's to 14 while cruising it sounds like your electrical is just fine to me.

Haven't had these new subs long enough to fully test it turn it down when I hit mid 12s. Amps being @ .9 suck way more juice then them being @1.3.
