Recently the rubber surround started to crack and break . When I touched it, some of it was very brittle. It never in the sun and I had the subs for 8yrs. There are some rubber conditioners that may help your next set last longer. Maybe some folks here have used that kind of thing and can recommend? Definitely not Sundown since he has Fi woofers. Which leads me to being amazed with his issue because I never knew Fi had that problem. I do know Audioque/Soundqubed had this issue, the surrounds turn a yellowish tint and it happens even sooner with continuous exposure to the sun.
