SnowDrifter
At a glance it doesn't look like it would be due to any funky loading. @Joe X helps a lot with box designs ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444

SnowDrifter
99% of the time it's not the sub, it's the box ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
nickcamarata
you think it could be a leak in the box? maybe where the woofer mounts?
CleanSierra
Cabin gain might just be hurting you then. A trunk is a more controlled environment than a non sealed off blowthrough. I always err on the side of more port is better, regardless of port velocity numbers. I go with 50-60% of cone area as my target port area preference. 105" is 60% and 88" is 50%. You're not there with the current design, are you? Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
CleanSierra
You need to get an accordion boot between bed and cab first(if that isn't done yet). Second, seal around box and inside of cabin, even if it's with foam pool noodles and duct tape. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
