Freddboi
The components I want have seprate outputs so it’ll be a tweeter channel and a woofer channel on each front door panel. I want three sets ran all as four channels meaning right front mids and right front tweeter and left front mids and left front tweeters. How do I wire the 3 woofers together as one channel and the tweeters as one channel. Look at the picture above of the crossover you’ll see what I mean by there’s inputs and outputs for both mid and tweeter
MrSkippyJ
You don’t have to run them like that. You can run them on a single input. Bi-amping is an option for those, you don’t have to do it. All it does for you is complicate things, keep it simple. Freddboi
what is bi amping? Would it would be running the tweeter and woofer as one and wiring all the speakers in series? I want to install a 3.sixty.3 dsp so I wanted to be able to control each individual speaker
slowfkncar
So you are stuck with 6 crossovers, you either need a two channel that can drop to 1 ohm, a 4 channel that can run at 2 ohm stereo or a 6 channel, wiring depends on which amp you've got. Freddboi
They are 2 ohm stereo stable I have a Rockford fosgate t.400 and t.600 both power series for my mids and highs I have two 6x9 in rear and the 3 sets of components I want will be in the front door panel. Freddboi
There both 4 channel amps
slowfkncar
Use the t400 for the rear 6x9's, use the t600 for the front. Run two pairs off the front channel and one pair off the rear. T600 Channel 1 = wire up two left side crossovers (amp output to xover tweeter input, same with the rest) Channel 2 = wire up two right side crossovers Channel 3 = wire up the remaining left crossover Channel 4 = wire up the remaining right crossover All RF crossovers that aren't in bi-amp mode use the tweeter input as the main input. Freddboi
So I’ll be able to wire The speakers to the amps output through the input of the tweeter on the crossover? And wire two of them in channels one and two in parelell by Simply the speaker terminals from the two tweeter input into one channel of the amp for channels 1 and 2? Freddboi
I am starting to understand what bi amping is and I really appreciate your patience and advice I’ve never owned components before I am now aware I can use the tweeter input as the primary. Would I be able to wire them in series?
