BigPimpin91
i lol'd pretty good at that.i can just see a woofer launching itself out of a box. I wasn't there but I did see the aftermath. He said he was cruising and the sub comes flying towards the front of his Explorer and nails the back of the passenger seat. Lucky it wasn't on the other side. CHINO11550
thats tight! try t nuts maybe they'll help. is the sub ok? the sub is perfect, the problem i have is that the cutout for the 18'z is a little bigger so i have to put the screws in at a slight angle Quote H/U Pioneer deh80prs w/ HRT iStreamer Ipod DACFront stage is active, 4 Morel Elate 6.5" & 8 CDT DRT26 tweetsamp running 4mids, Mosconi Audio 300.2amp running 8tit & alum tweets, Mosconi Audio 200.28 12" Ascendant Audio Chaos. amps 2 Digital Designs M4'zbox is a 4th order band passbatts. 1 XS Power D3400 under hood,6 D3100 in back2 XP 370 amp DC Power alts.MLA module 15+voltsAll in a 97 2door Tahoe LT2010 West Coast Reg. 140-149.9 Bass Race Champ Team Bass Hz
01tahoeman
i learned that my screws werent long enough the first time i had my L7's in a prefab box, the sub fell out of the box, it was kinda sad just sitting there not in the box Quote Clarion ProAudio VRX755VD Infinity Perfects 6.1-front Infinity Perfects 5.1 -rear Infinity REF7541A 3 Kicker S15L7D2 Kicker ZX1500.1 Kicker ZX750.1 Pair of Memphis tweets ] New Build In The Works
bkolfo4
Drywall screws are bad for mounting heavy subs. First sub I learned that with was my Blueprint 1803. #12 sheet metal screws work awesome, and don't over tighten them!!! That is what I have used for the past 6 years without a problem.
