I would love to find a cheap diesel truck, small older model. Convert it over to run on refined cooking oil. Hit up all the local restaurants and get them to let me have there used cooking oil. As little as I drive that would be great. We have a 07 Gmc Acadia and this morning it took $80 to fill up. With oil prices hovering at the 130+ mark I can only see it going up. So did it go up today?? I haven't been around a TV to check.

i remember my buddy laughing at me when i bought my truck 2000 s-10 with 2.2 in it. cause it was slow .. hes got a 67 chevy pickup with a 6.2 diesel in it.... whos laughing now lol gas is about 3.99-4.09 and diesel is like 4.70 .... i kno this isnt the f*ck that thread .... but fuck that

Hopefully before it gets to $10 a gallon (in the US at least its already there in Europe) people might realize we need to find a new energy source....

Too bad there isn't something that just sits around in the sky and emits massive amounts of energy all day..... hmmmm
