I keep seeing that you need to get a deck with a higher voltage, so I figured I would post this. Decaf Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 well i dont know about you but i would rather have a 5v headunit and have my gains well at 1/4 turn than a 2v headunit and have it 3/4s of the way up imo ofcourse it doesn matter so long as you match to the headunit, but the lower the voltage, usually the lower quality the headunit also so im going to stick with 5v and above, otherwise whats the point of companies creating eq's and sound processors that put out 5-8v, if it didnt matter, wouldnt they only put out 2v or less
