Joe X
Indeed, an overall nice system, box looks great also, also curious if it met you expectations performance wise.
xXDigitizerXx
I haven't gotten good results yet, having voltage issues, I bought a US Alternator fixed module set to 14.8 volts to externally regulate my Singer alt, to combat the GMC RVC, but it doesn't work, for some reason. I'm stuck at 13-13.2 volts, so I drop down to low 12 volts before I can even get half way up. Did 147.8 at 36hz peak at 12 volts on the glass, extremely not ideal. Going to send my alt back to get internally regulated, I chose to try this module so I didn't get the "check charging system" error on the dash, ended up with a $200 paper weight module.. Joe X
Yes 12V dips is pretty bad, call singer for solutions, this is a pretty common issue, I am sure they will get you some answers.

Yea, I knew it was going to be some trial and error on the voltage, soon as this module didn't work, like it was supposed too. I should have went internally regulated from the start and saved myself $200 and headaches. I don't think this headway bank is sufficient enough either for this Smart Bass 8k. I have been looking into Cmax, just not sure, I want to be charging at 15-16 volts in this vehicle. GMC Terrains have enough issues as it is. So. I'll see what I can do, when I get my alt internally regulated and go from there, which will likely take a bit since Singer is a busy guy. For now, I have it tuned to 2800 watts rms on my basshead garage meter, all I can do without crazy voltage drop.
notorious97200
That's a really nice system. Congratulations ! I stopped upgrading when I had my first regulated electrical system in a car. The voltage wouldn't go above 13.7 v. An HO alt wouldn't have change nothing for me at that time. Maybe it's possible now. Good luck, OP. 1 Quote black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200.
