lol i know right, it hisses for a lil bit after you shut it off, yeah that song is awsome. i just like the look of cold airs because its a big tube running down the side of the engine.

Short Ram - More power in the lower RPM band.

Cold Air - More power at higher RPM's

I would not use the chrome one...it collects heat faster than the blue..or any other plastic one out there...colder the air the denser the air(more HP)!!!

chrome gets dirty easy lol, not saying the blue wouldnt. i was thinking about getting the blue one anyways just because i want all the shit in my engine bay blue. its gotta look nice =)

the short ram intake the k&n makes for my car comes with a heat shield and it also has the stock intake tube hookup. so it doesnt suck in hot air on mine and it still maintains the stock tube which i think is pretty cool. and mines more throatier that whistling.
