Noobtastic14
Hannahs car is Out of Commission right now do to her clutch being GONE. its weird, happened over night (symptoms started last night, car not drivable by this afternoon) the car starts and runs strong in N but when the clutch is pressed it does not engage and forcing it into 1st promptly kills it. the clutch uses a wire not fluid and the lever just above the clutch/side of heads pivots just like it should. we think the clutch is just out but the tow truck driver claims up and down the clutch just needs to be tweaked and is not done for. anybody with experience know whats going on????? -Drew Quote I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. jonathancullen89
hmm are you talking about the adjuster thing by the clutch peddle? new cars use a wire to engage the clutch now? if they didnt i would say check the fluid or make sure your slave/master cylinders are working properly. it is highly unlikely that the clutch is just gone, clutch in my car went and was still drivable just had to force it a lil speed shift. 03SSEI
Has to be another linkage for the clutch i dont think its shot, you would probably smell it and it would have started grabbing and bein jumpy far beforehand it has to be an adjustment somewhere. str86diesel
The easiest way to tell if the clutch is fried is that when it is engaged it will slip. If you have no slip, than its just out of adjustment. Quote 2k6 Dodge Ram 2500...CUMMINS POWERED - SOLD
Sampsonite
So the pedal just falls on the floor right? and it's a mechanical clutch? Same thing happened to me in a neon. The cable just came off a hook on the transmission. Quote --Sampson 816-591-6592 www.kcrimshop.com
