Most broadband connections are 1.5-10Mbit/s, which a wireless connection can handle plenty fine. The reason his downstream is so fast is becuase of comcast's "powerboost"... here's some info on it: http://www.testmy.net/t-14829 So you really won't see that much of a difference. Transferring data within the network you will see a extreme difference as long as the wired card is full duplex.
