look at the kicker ss series they do 30-500hz and are available in 6 3/4" and 8" or you could go with sundown e8 if your playing 200hz and down on them.

Kicker SSMB series.

8 inch and 6.5 inch models designed and dedicated for midbass use.

Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

If you want something cheap to play with, parts express has some really cheap 8's. I put a $20 8'' in a audiobahn bass tube with 70 watts and it destroys my first system [visonik 10's and amp from pep boys lol]. I was impressed for the price and power. [although it doesn't like 23hz tones lol]

Current Setup:

Factory HU with LOC

mids/highs-Insignia components

Sub- E8 in bass tube

Amp- sae-1200d

Show Setup:

HU-Sony MEX-1HD (brings massive respect for sony)

fronts - Infinity Kappa perfect comps

rears- Infinity Kappa coax

mid/high amp - Autotek 5600

Subs - 2 RE SE 15's

Sub Amps - 2xSAE-1200D

Box - 5cubes sealed

Wire- Lots of Knu 1/0
