Ernesto Posted December 16, 2006 Report Share Posted December 16, 2006 It was popular back in the day, we're talking 1980's bro, everyone is into extreme porting and walls, were it use to be if you had two 12's in an isobaric box you were the shit, It's what some old school bassheads did on a low budget, so 2 12's made one 24" sub movement. But the enclosure has to be under 2.0, unless you bandpass it. But like I said too much time it to add up everything to be perfect, the out come isn't that great either. David Posted December 17, 2006 Report Share Posted December 17, 2006 I did a few Iso box's back in the day, I seen a dual Iso bandpass in a bmw 2002 man that sona bish sounded sooooooooooooooooo good, quite possibly the cleanest bass I ever heard. Its tuned at 55hz, but sounds awesome, and check out the size of the box... Quote I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I then start to hum the T2 theme. Slowly I rise to a standing position and open my eyes.
