It is still a badass setup. So don't be a b**** when I ask a noobie like question about car audio. What chamber on his setup is sealed? Or is the interior of his cabin, where the subs are firing into, is considered the "Sealed chamber." Then I would understand that to be a bandpass setup. But, I was confused about that. Epic misunderstanding<learning= life so please lighten up. they are in sealed boxes.. but the outside part where you can see the cones is " ported " for lack of a better word. look up bandpass on google for a brief overview of them, there is several different " orders " and such to look at as well though I forgot what his is.

All in all it is still a sweet setup, and I like how it looks factory on the outside, very stealth. yes i love the vans .. hopefully if I can find an astro or something, i'll be running a similar setup.

galacticmonkey Posted July 25, 2008 Author Report Posted July 25, 2008 All the subs are sealed, firing into a big common chamber which is ported. Basically it is a sealed clamshell, with the mouth of the clamshell having a loading wall that acts as a port. Since the ported chamber is so big (35 cubes), even with there being like 900 sq in of port it only needs to be 4" deep to get the 47hz tuning.
