kentb
when i was connecting the wire from the + battery to the + Alternator, i accidentally hit the alternator case, so it sparked and melted a small part of it. so i got everything connected again and now when i start the car after about 3-5 seconds it shuts off. what do you think happened? if i killed my alternator why would the car shut off? kingsuv
Not good. Whats the charge on the battery? Have you double checked all your connections? Designing, building, and shipping boxes. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it.

ChevyBoy
mightve blown a fuse. check all your fuses under the hood. if nothing, then check the fuses in the car.

I know that you fixed but in the future if you unhook the neg battery cable you shouldn't have this problem.
