02Blazer Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 the gc's are good they never stick. i had a bunch of the danz the boxes kept falling off the top( too much banging around ) the smc's i believe are the ones that make that weird chirp noize. i got a hook up on the stuff to this day cause me and my buddy have bought hella stuff over the years. i kinda got out of . he still has a car on bags struts that is...... the pressure regulator usually works pretty good for knowing how much psi you have in your tank and oen for your air tank also. but a big bottle dosent last long thats why i had 4 in my last truck on helium , your regulator will always stay at 800 psi , it does not go down , like nitrogen , thats why i didn't go with helium, i was gonna run 3 30lb bottles but the guys at airgas told me everything about it... 02Blazer Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 yesir. 600 psi is real loud. one hit 53 inches. isint as good as the daddys customz toy...... hops all 4's 5 feet one hit. insane!check out AAC's ford ranger, that thing gets about 7-8'' in the front, 8-10'' in the rear , and thats all 4 wheels of at the same time !!!!!! 02Blazer Posted June 20, 2008 Report Share Posted June 20, 2008 interesting mine read down to 300 200 ect. i even think it read 50 once cause when you get the bottle it should have 2500 lbs or something like that. i had big bottles you must be thinking of nitrogen , if you were, on your regulator it will have 2200-2300 psi ( when just filled ) and a working pressure of 0-600 psi , this is on most gauges. helium is a liquid that turns to gas , in the bottle.. your regulator on helium will not register till you get down to near empty.. you see , the helium will stay around 800 or so psi for a WHILE, not like the nitrogen , every time you air up from being layed out , you lose about 100-175 psi. i hated the bottle cause it goes SOOOO fast..... i think (im not positive ) the big tanks are 100 lbs .. how big was yours ??? Heres my Fav hopper strait slams bumper on old iron and it still runs every things still intact! I dont think daddy's customs built it cuss I met the guy hitting the switches and he said he and his dad built it. Hes got another air hopper in his garage he says hes slowly building.
