I mean there are some folks that just don't get what we do. Then there are some that try and fail. But since we are the elite few that get what we do and know what we are doing why have any kind of animosity between us. we've raised the playing level out here on the West but, so sad to say "We are only playing with ourselves". We need it to grow so we can all keep participating in what we enjoy doing. I must say there has been a lot of new faces coming out thanks to SMD and I love it. The Bass Race format is definately fun and anything can happen. Plus having the resources of this site and knowledgable approachable veterans is a key elminate for new people coming out. but back to the basics though. we all should be able to grow together, learn from each others mistakes and success. Joey, Alpine and I have learned a ton of shit and we are still learning. basics of building a box out of particle board, staples and glue to welding and cutting a car. I'd really wish we had a true West Coast competition base and not just us in Nor Cal. I'd rather have less shows and more competitors then do all these little shows with the same competitors.
