Cali may get hot, and the desert may get hot, my next door neighbor is from AZ , and he agrees the weather in savannah ga is nothing like AZ. It can be 2:30 in the morning, and just going outside will get you sweating and sticky feeling. It is magnified 100 times as the sun gets into the sky. It averages 80 - 95 % humidity here year round. You have heard the term "dry heat" , well around here it is anything but dry. It is sticky, it is muggy , and it is hot. Ever been in a sauna.... We live in one year round.
