Hi, i know this is for a bd1500 but now my bd1000 is doing the same thing when im running it at 1 ohm it was fine but then i tuned my settings and it goes into protect on some songs only. Also my gain is really low at like 15%. Will removing the d106 on a 2002 bd1000 help me the same way.

From what he explained he replaces everything. He doesn't leave any parts from the original amp in there.

To me fixing an amp means you find the probblem and fix it and don't touch anything else.

So he fully rebuilds the amp with all new parts and doesn't reuse any of the original parts.(even the good ones)

So I see a big difference between fixing an amp and fully rebuilding the amp.

Maybe I don't get it. LOL

he would never do so without completely replacing the board. He probably does do just that but i can guarantee he doesn't physically pull off everything from the board and replace with new parts. That would take forever

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

That's what I thought. Especially considering half the class d amps out there have the tops ground off most of the driver ICs in them to protect the design.

All those little SMCs etc, it would be far more time consuming than the amp is worth.

Does this mod work on tha 1001bd?

WoW I thought this thing was long gone.

I don't know if it will work on the 2003 1001BD?

Hey mods may we make this thread disapear like a fart in the wind before someone gets the wrong idea or for people that might not understand how to use a modded amp.

I guess I don't want it to be me that puts the thought of useing a modded amp in a daily driver with the potential of being dangerous to the operators vehicle or possible harm to the installer. Expescialy if the owner/installer is inexperienced.

PLEASE DELETE THREAD

Thank you,
