Currently I'm underpowering my sub soooo I keep the H/U vol about 70-85%. Any higher and my sub-amp clips. Need more power. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. mtxcivic07 Posted December 15, 2006 Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 i have an alpine headunit as well, the CDA-9847... subwoofer is 15/15 and bass is at 0, amp gains set @ 3/4 never go above 22 out of 35 b/c when i turn it past 22 my 6x9 speakers in the rear deck, for some odd reason dont get louder.. they get quieter when i get past that.. you guys know of any reason why it might do that? they are Alpine Type-R 6x9's powered by an MTX thunder 302 2-channel amp.
