meade916
yes there are LOTS of 300a alts out there and they all say the same thing. Your "at idle" will suck but after 800-1000rpm its awesome. I recommend Iraggi myself but if anyone else wants to give this guy some numbers USE PM's or the FOR SALE section. It comes factory with the 130amp, and the stock replacement part number is 8237, and this Iraggi alt say it is compatable, but want to ask here first. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/300-amp-Ira...itemZ7955208394 Edited June 23, 2008 by newls1 Quote I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
missinglink
You need the AD244 Alt for your tahoe from who ever. The iraggi listed is the same AD244. You need to look @ idle output if you park and play alot. Idle is where you need the most power output(I feel). Just depends on your style! You really have 2 options: high output above idle better output @ idle all companies spec are different so try to see where you fit in. If you demo alot you want higher @ idle if you drive more than demo then the higher while driving should be fine. Double check where your vehicle's idle sits then compare to the alts idle needs. Some alts do not even turn on till over 1000RPM's so look at all of these so you get the best for your needs. Oh we fit AD244's MLA Quote missinglinkaudio The United States Marine Corps. Oh we fit AD244's MLA Well, I emailed Dom, and about 2 minutes later I had a response (damn that was fast) I think what im going with is a Dual ALT braket, and his 300amp alt, to run "WITH" my stock 130amp alt. Does this sound logical, and how would I wire it? Would I just keep the stock alt "left alone" and wire the 300amp alt to my amps and extra batts? Here is my understanding of electrical, "I leave it alone, and it leaves me alone!" Everytime I do electrical somehow or someway be it either home or car, I get shocked. Doesnt bother me, however one day it is going to bite me hard!......... Does anyone know how much the dual alt braket costs around? Nitr0Racing21
If you have a second battery then it will be possible to run the 300 alt to that battery(i believe) and run just the audio off it Quote 2 MAW15's Cadence 1000D Infinity Reference 6022's Blankput Tweeters and Infinity 4x6's with tweeters Powered by a US Acoustic USB4085 1 Rockford 1Farad Caps and a 200 amp ALT

Would it be better this way, or NO? Cause my other thought is this: If I use both alts, that is a combined amperage of 430Amps, so maybe this is the better way to go. I just have no idea how to wire this bitch in. Quote I love my staffie So anti FACEBOOK it isn't even funny
