Did you see Jacobs dad's single cab pickup? That should answer alot of questions......and if you guys have alot of questions Jacob really is the one to talk to after all no1 has really had these subs for very long to do testing.

yes i did, but his was ported, i could do ported, but i would have to use less subs, idk if i could do even 2 subs downfiring with 1 cube ported...might just be too small

yea it will be around 1 cube, give or take a little bit.....punchy is my main goal, but i still wanna be able to get loud, im not lookin for as loud as the X cause i think 140 db with 8's in a sealed box is out of the question

I'd like to be able to bassrace the 139.9 class with my 8 8s ported but its prolly not gonna happen but it would be rather cool.

i could do 2 subs ported in 1 cube, but id like to do more subs....even tho i think 2 subs ported might be louder than 4 sealed

under the seat of a 04 f-150 ext cab, the "single seat" part is going where my amps are, and the dual seat part underneath is where i can get my 1 cube for my subs

Why not build two boxes and see which you like better permitting you have room.

i can do that, but if i couldnt really see how well i liked unless i ordered all 4 subs, but if i did that with my luck i would think the 2 ported would sound better, lol

i was thinkin of fiberglassing the bottom and sides of the box, maybe even the top.....but anyway fiberglassing it to get the most out of my space, work all the curves best i can instead of just square wood

not mine, but mines the same except i have the stock 8 inch woofer under there now............the single seat is for 2 amps, the big part is for the subs, thats why im thinkin fiberglass would be better

lol its not much, ill try to find some online cause its dark out now

Why not just order two and port them and if you don't like the sound get the other two? I honestly think two ported would be enough for that extended cab...or 4 sealed would sound good aswell the 4 sealed would be more simplistic as you do have alot of curves.
