if you go to the right places they are just a little more then Fi and DC stuff thats all over the boards

the amp us told me to use on the re sx sub was the md-1d. but it cost 250 to 300 bucks more than the sae 1000d. my question is what one is better

its really personal preference, im a sundown rep but i persoanlly like the Merlin series amps as well. whichever you choose is personal preference but both will work for what you want.

also i see your looking at a md42 the sundown 100.4 does put out a little more then that particular amp

I paid 275 for my SX15. Talk to an authorized dealer, I know for a fact you wont pay what they are asking @ woofers Etc.
