Theres also a clear difference from a 250 and an Excursion. My 250 with the 4:10 gears will drag around an Excursion with 3:73's all day. I know, cause I have both. If you really want to know what your getting for gas mileage, then quick looking at the lie-o-meter in the over head and put over 100k miles on "your" truck and get back to me with what you get. You would be hard pressed to impress me with your knowledge in the world of Excursions or the Super Duty platform. I've owned mine longer then you have been driving, and that accounts for a lot. Oh and the building is done, it's the tunning left to do. Then I get to pull it and make it look pretty.
