alpines site doesnt have it. does anyone know the recommended specs for type r 12's

.7 to 1 is what alpine recommends.

From Alpine's site, they reccomend 0.85ft^3 per sub for optimum sealed enclosure for a 12" Type-R.

I've got one R in the woman's car with 600 or so watts to it and it pounds. If you want the box specs just let me know. The box is ported though, but that would be the way to go any way. The internal airspace is 1.7 cuft and won't be much bigger than a sealed box if size is an issue.
