Fiberglass Kick Panels And A New 4 Channel

Recommended Posts

Two 1/0 inputs to feed the amp its power

DSC_0038.jpg

Passenger side kick panel , tweeters are flush with the mid and share airspace.. sealing it up was a pain

DSC_0017.jpg

The panels were molded to fit in the factory positions like a glove

DSC_0018.jpg

After 3 days of working on them they came out pretty nice

DSC_0019.jpg

I had the speakers in a cardboard box for a few months before finding the perfect spot for each one, then i fiberglassed the panels

DSC_0020.jpg

Drivers side kick is a little bit bigger because i did not want to cut out the dead pedal, it was not removable

DSC_0021.jpg

I had to cut the trim panel so i could get the angle and airspace i wanted with this panel

DSC_0023.jpg

Robert Zeff designed Arc Audio KS300.4 , great improvement over my memphis both in imaging and tonal accuracy

DSC_0026.jpg

Ultralink RCA's just to ensure that i dont ever have any rf noise that i shouldnt get

DSC_0027.jpg

Close of up of the RCAs . they are unidirectional which i thought was pretty cool

DSC_0028.jpg

Ran the RCAs to the sub aswell.. no reason other then just to match with the rest

DSC_0030.jpg

Amp is secured to box and false floor, false floor and box are both secure to the cars chassis.. its not going anywhere

DSC_0033.jpg

Everything is starting to come together .. still need to work on a few more pieces in the trunk and i can say its done

DSC_0034.jpg

probably my favorite picture, the amp has 0.5" of breathing room on each side to keep things cool

DSC_0088.jpg

Big three done in 1/0 gauge and routed and secured safely

DSC_0090.jpg

main distro block, if you notice there are two runs of 8 gauge there, one for my headunits positive and one for negative, i know its pointless and overkill but i had the extra wire so why not

This setup did a 142.8 at a USACI event, it may not be the loudest like meade's stuff and the glass work may not be up there with timmays stuff but i really put alot of time into the car to get it loud and to get it to image properly and to get it as tonally accurate as i could using a test tone cd and a basic spl meter. Just my humble daily driver, enjoy the pics!

Too Much Stuff to list .
