sundownz
* Launching card-board off the port w/ an E8 coil (copper) on it. Actually did take a while to find the little coil * Holds cardboard against the ceiling from port air movement, 2400-watts clamped power on a sine wave * Knocking one roll of tape off the port * Two rolls of tape now (still processing as I post) * Playing around a bit with the sub on music Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]
sundownz
We are going to see if we can get it in a vehicle tonight for some more testing. The test box is by no means good on the meter, but we may post numbers anyway. BigPimpin91
The stuck cardboard was funny. At first I though the coil was connected to the cardboard and got stuck in the ceiling. Quote BigPimpin91's Banging Music

sundownz
Brandon's Bronco simply doesn't meter high - but this sub on the 3000D metered almost exactly like the three Nightshade 15s -- 143.5 dB Need to try in a different vehicle for some good numbers. Starting to think this Bronco simply won't meter above this level no matter what *laughs* We played around with it for about an hour an it's doing fine so far. My BII peaks between 60-64hz depending on mic placement. With his box tuned that low, it's not working well with the Resonant frequency. Plus, the panels are super thin so there goes a few db's right there. I need to get some sound deadener. About 18 square feet of it for the roof. About 5 for the rear hatch. Hopefully then I can get my 140 sealed at the dash. And piss of my buddy who is running 5 times the power I am. He does a 43.4 In the kick. I do a 40.1 in the kick.
