nice score what you plan on using to hit a 150 cause thats what i working on now in my 02 civic and have been trying to get there for a while. I had to Kicker L7's on 3000 watts through into the car sealed off from the trunk and hit a 147.1 so I changed to a 18" Solo X on 4000 watts and only hit a 146.7 in a wall which pissed me off I think it was tunned alittle low though for spl. Now Im switching to 8 10" on 4000 watts in a wall so i better hit my mark now if not more than that.

Going from 140 to 145 is harder than 0-140 in terms of time put in unless you get lucky and find a sweet loading spot and gain a quick few dB. Every dB over 145 is tricky, every dB over 148 is a bastard, every dB over 150 is GOLD.

This applies to Street class SPL, mind you.

Remember that 3dB requires a doubling in pressure so you need a bit over 3 doubles... that's 8 times the pressue

Try burping it a little longer next time. From that photo it looks like you only gave it a real quick blip, give the wave time to build in the car.

well i'm trying for 150db aswell at 148 at the mo but the batterys were down at 12volt with the engine on and standard altinator so once thats sorted we will see.

Using 2 sealed L5 12" and a solo x 18" ported all in a wall the solo x is gettin 2500 and the l5s 1000

I bet if you lose that retarded idea of adding those l5's in and just make a wall for the solo x and use the other amps and strap them to the solo x you could hit just as high if not higher.
