I started this for people interested in the Warhorse. Theres nothing to debate.

Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.

"Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak; sometimes it means that you are strong enough to let go."

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

The Destruction of a person builds character.

Naw, I think they are awesome amps and probably built like tanks. But a dollar a watt doesn't jive in my books. Not tryin to stir up shit here, just seein if anyone else thinks that an really high price for 10K watts.

A car stereo shop? Ha... every one I've ever been to charges right at or even MORE than MSRP! Kicker 2500D's are like over $2K! Online shops are always 1/2 - 1/4 of the shop prices.

I've personally never used an amp with a current draw over 150 amps max. On paper it did about 1250 watts ( real power ). I would say if you want good clean / useable power the rule of thumb would be about a dollar a watt. That may be old school thinking but, some of the ratings I've encountered lately are way out of line. I have tried a couple amps that state 1000 watts of output for 599.00 retail. The only issue was the math. The amps would have had to be over 100% efficient to do that. Just 2 cents from me. My best results have actually come from decent power amps and very efficient speakers. I'm sure Stillwater Designs is making a solid product,so who's got the bank for that amp? I'm looking for a car that get's good mileage for about the same price as that amp.

Ohh god, here we go again... it IS on topic. I'm simply comparing the Warhorse to other amp(s) that put out 10K and their price comparison. No need for your holyness here....

sounds like the same shit i hear about the T15k. Who really cares if the price is too much.

For some people it isnt. If you dont have the bread then dont buy it, buy something else. Can any of you cheap bastards ever look at technology and appreciate the bad-assness of something without crying over the cost all the time?
