ive been wondering about throttle body spacers myself.  i about bought one when i purchased my K&N FIPK but if it doesnt really do much good i figured i wouldnt waste the little amount of money that they cost.  rather spend that extra money on a couple cases of beer or something lol.so i kinda know what they do but the thing i wanna know if its even worth buying?

I think there's grooves on the inside of the spacer which make it do that noise, there's this new spacer made of aluminum and billet, keeps the noise away, can't remember who makes it....SK >:(

throttle bodies dont make any extra horse power...or it would be anything noticeable..its like those stupid "tornado" metal things you stick in the air vent..well once the butterflys(throttle body thing that opens..caled a butterfly) the air aint swirling..but the spacers do make noise and no horsepower..there is one on the market that doesnt make noise though..apparently

Tea those tornado shits are no good, once they get loose, bye bye intake, they fly in there and get chewed up ;) lol, never a good thing :-XAs for noise, it's those grooves that it probably has on the inside of the spacer ;)SK ^-^

I gained 7hp at the wheels with my 75mm Throttlebody upgrade(tested on a Dyno), please,  please know the facts before saying what works and doesnt work. I have no Idea about the spacers.

Yes Throttle body Spacers to add HP, but the gain is limited.  How you ask???  By Changing the direction of air flow, the spacer is able to charge the air, thus enabling it to mix with fuel and burn more efficientlyBottom Line...  HP=Fuel+AirSo as long as you have the the fuel to compliment the extra air, that creates power.  If your in disbelief, then please explain the purpose of a turbo and supercharger...cause they do the same thing, charging and directly injecting air, thus creating power  :^

okay guys check it! the "helix bore" design of the t.b. spacer creates a spinning action of the incoming air. as air passes through your throttle body, this helical effect causes the air molecules to organize and maintain high velocity. the organization and high velocity of the air helps to provide a superior atomized mixture of fuel and air all the way into the combustion chamber. you gain hella torque between 800 to 3000 rpm, you can also gain fuel efficiency, depending on driving conditions...tornado? looks cool on TV...
