Mounting A Sub With Bolts.

and hows that???? You don't see the tnuts they are INSIDE of the box and all you see is a clean looking allen head bolt over a screw....

edit: I don't have any pics of installing tnuts but I do have a finished product look I'll post it in a sec.

Your way looks good, big bolts look bad!!!!!

I'm not to worried about a "clean" look. The subs are going to be right behind my seat. My only question is. Will it work? And i kinda like the look of big ass bolts coming out my sub. :D

Single Baffle?

Too bad the nuts won't fit through the basket mounting holes....

Heres how they should look with tnuts and allen head bolts on a 1.5" baffle

he doesn't want to use Tnuts he wants to use a normal bolt with a nut and lock washer.

yes it willl work- no its not the best way... make sure you find a way to drop some lock-tite on the threads.

I am defiantly dropping some lock-tite on there......I think Tub Asko still has some too......sweet.

Well i say keep it simple!!!

No kidding hes trying to make it complicated its this simple....

step 1: buy tnuts and bolts

step 2: drill holes

step 3: put tnuts in

step 4: lower sub in hole

step 5: tighten bolts in tnuts

I agree. I'd do Tnuts as well- but to each his own and if he wants to go through a bit extra effort for the look he desires so be it. we've told him the alternative its up to him to know what he is getting into and decide himself.
