Why is the port just chilling in the middle of the box?

i think he said something about this type of port being to close to the side could cause some type of cancellation, i for got the word he used, i may be wrong, he can say in better words if he sees this, i just asked him to build something he thought would be good.

i dont understand are u saying it does put out power or it dont? i have the older one, i bought it new and its been sitting for a couple years so i decided to use it.

its not in the middle more to one side, just not a typical slot port that see everywhere.

I wanted to try something diffrent, I could of slot ported the box, but thats been done to death, why not try something diffrent and see how it works, I also didnt feel like figuring out end correction.

the box sounds amazing, the bass is very very clean, gets real low, and pretty loud for the limited power he has available.

no offense Alpine but I highly doubt that amp puts out 2kw of clean power, i could be wrong, as I have never played with one before, last nite, but it did not impress me one bit.

John, me personally, I would replace the amp with a quality amp when you could afford too, the lpf on that amp is not the greatest no fine tuning it, just a retarded switch 50hz to 150 hz.

david your a fool ..well the box does sound hella good, and i am goin to save up for a real amp, hey remember the volt switch you asked me about, i switched it to the other side and it started puondin hella hard. i had to turn the amp down as well as sub level on the deck. well im headed out to do my big 3.
