I think I mentioned that I hit the deer and had to get alot of the front grill replaced but the bastards didn't put in matching blinker bulbs so I put silverstars. (I have to say, they are kickass bulbs, and the blue tint to them when they're off is awesome) But I needed some center cap inserts and when I put the bedliner on the hubs I never put the old ones back, but it was because they were played out. So I made my own with some thick gauge aluminum sheet. The old one is on the left and what will become the new is on the right. Dad's been stuck at home taking care of his leg so he wanted something to do so I let him give the circles some swirls. Taped off. Primer then paint. Some clear coats. Bam, new center caps. Check my weak exhaust tip. Now I did the grill work. This is all before, notice behind the grill the frame work that all the paint is coming off. I think they've got galvanized underneath so the paint doesn't stick for shit. I've seen almost all of these trucks have this problem. Pulled it all off and grinded all the crap paint off with a wire brush wheel. Then hit it with the self etching primer and then coat of black. Good as new. CERTIFIED BITCHES!!! I wanted something with a bit more rugged look than the factory overly done chrome. I cant afford wheels until I've saved ALOT so I think this is a nice touch. However, I wouldn't advise just copying the resistors I used for this truck and LED's. Depending on the LED's (number of, color, size, voltage, draw) as well as the vehicle's stable voltage, depends on what resistors you need to be using. CERTIFIED BITCHES!!!
