meade916
and the reason why an arguement from another forum is being posted here? oh ya its not....if i want to read up on you going back and forth with someone from RF, i will go over there and read it. You can post a link to your arguement if you want but pasting every word between you two is kinda annoying. thanks! ChevyBoy
i could care less either way. i own a power series amp and love them..but on that note i was part of the RF forum activily for a long time and could of swore thats how snafu had explained it. still with me stating the "innacuracy" to me it was a 0-200watts off not a big deal and me not bashin RF. but none the less perfect conditions have to be obtained to get that exact wattage anyways so it really doesnt matter s long as its a close range.i still call bs without proof. and "could of swore" doesnt mean anything. and what does it matter what amp you own? you can own 40 of them, and ill still call your bluff. provide the proof, and prove us wrong. CUT BUDDY
why ship out a birthsheet? many reasons 1. it gives people a fussy feeling knowing what they have in front of them 2. why not its not like it cost much to print sheets of paper as long as it helps business 3. ive always believed companies have tested select few from runs and just average in the rest for birthsheets x100 Ive always said the same thing. I used to work in the Pharm Industry and when ur working with mass quantities u use batch testing. Which means u test so many for every couple of hundred or thousand. Ive never believed that u can test every single 1 and still keep up with a mass production. TEAM MechMan Alternators
Boon
I dunno... it would take about 5 seconds to put an amp on a testbed and get an automated reading off it. Considering how much time they probably spend putting the amps together it wouldn't surprise me if they took 10 seconds to get a real, true birth sheet off it. I wouldn't be altogether surprised if every single birth sheeted amp is individually tested, and, when new, makes the power it says on the sheet, if you exactly replicate their testing conditions. 10.x volts fo' life! CUT BUDDY
yea but when ur talking about big companies 10seconds is money. fuckers will tell u anything to make a buck. I like RF and its no doubt in my mind that their amps put out the juice but I just find it hard believe that they test every single 1. sonic purity
so basicly, you dont look at it like a bad thing the 2ohm rating is higher because NORMALLY its a 2000w amp at 1 ohm and a few hundred extra watts and less then 2,000 at 2... Now, its a few hundred extra watts at 1ohm AND 2 ohm. doesnt make sense why, but its not a bad thing now that i look at it like that. It seem like it would make the amp alot more flexible if It puts outs around the same wattage at 2 ohms and 1 ohms. Gives the kicker guys a reason to switch to RF n2caraudio.com
